I also put up a page for Softwares most of them are free and very useful

I originally wanted to include a Phpbb Forum Like This One
but..... the Scripting Was too complicated for me
i'm Currently Working on Some interactive Flash Tutorials which i'll be posting in the web-site shortly

Vinod: The way you programmed your homepage is not the way you told me.
You asked me if you can put up a link to my site for JR MIDIs, and I allowed you that. I did not allow you to link the files directly and I will also not do so, because I pay money for traffic, which means that I currently pay money for you.
You either put up a link to www.jordanrudess.com/midi.html , www.jordanrudess.de/midi.html , or you have to contact ALL the authors of those files and ask them for permission to upload their files.
I'll check back tonight and hope that this problem will be fixed then!

Vinod, I appreciate that you also contacted me to ask, but my suggestion was the same as what Majesty's saying. It would be better to have links to the JR and DT.net midi sections rather than putting links to every file.

Thank you very much!
A hint: if you type <a href="bla" target_blank> into your html code, a new window opens if someone clicks on it. An advantage if you link other sites.

I usually find it irritating when a site opens up lotta windows
i guess that's the main reason why i tried to keep most of the content in a single window
But Hey if that's what what you want that's what you'll get
i've already edited the script your site will now open in a new shiny Window
You can check it up in www.emusicman.tk
Thanks again for everything

GAHH!!!1 Hate that unexpected flash music!
I took that into consideration while designing the site
that's the reason why i added a small controller in the top right corner of the site
so if you don't like the music you can press the stop button
but although i am considering to remove it if i get any further complaints against it

I can't stop the music and its really annoying. The control in the top right corner isn't displayed completely, so I have to use a trick that most users don't know to be able to scroll the page to the right to see the stop button. I am using a resolution of 1024x768. Your web site shouldn't be designed for a specific resolution.
There is also error in your "code". I don't know if you can see it, but when there is an error, instead of a valid Internet Explorer image displayed in the bottom-left corner of the browser (I'm using IE), I have the script error image. Here is a link to an image of the main site of your page. The error icon is circled in red. I will keep the link valid for one day.

I think the main page design is very ordinary and there are definitely problems with your frames. For example, I click on the game menu on the main page and when the page opens, I can't completely see the textual description of the game and again I have no control (scroll bar) to be able to scroll the text and I still have to use the old dirty trick.
Thats what I see so far and don't have time to check for more improvements at the moment. Good luck with rewriting your page!

I promised myself that if i get one more complaint regarding that sound i'd delete it , and that's exactly what i did
The Sound is Gone
and regarding that small error message which you pointed out in your picture , i don't really know what that is . actully i did'nt even notice it until you pointed it out and i don't think that anyone else noticed it except you
but still i will look into it ...... and correct it in the near future
and regarding the page for games:-
it's taken care of i have created a brand new page for games
which i hope will be viewable with all browsers and resolutions
So.... i hope you find the site more to your liking now
if you have any more complaints feel free to post here
Or i've also started a small forum in the site , so you can also post it there

You still have bugs in your code dude. It should be the first thing you try to solve when using script in your website. Maybe I am the only one who noticed it, but it still means that something is going wrong in your page. If you can't use script correctly, don't use it.
When developing using Javascript, you should always enable debugging in your browser. To do so, in IE, go to menu Tools/Internet Options, Advanced tab and under the "browsing" section, make sure the "Disable Script Debugging" checkbox is NOT checked. So when an error occurs, there will be a popup window that tells you information about the error.
As I said before, your site is designed for a specific resolution, and some pages give ugly results when viewed under some resolutions. The problem is that you define object position and size in pixels rather than in % you want an objet of your page to take. This also gives unwanted effects, such as a scrollbar appearing when it is not needed at all to see all the content of a page. At least there are some scrollbars now so I could call it a step forward.
If you want to make a great site, you will correct the problems I mentioned. Otherwise, it will continue to suck at its actual level.
Good luck!

Hey nismael
o.k man i tried a lot but i could'nt really fix the problem with that status bar message. But..... i can defenitely assure you that it does not affect the working of the site
and regarding the problem with resolution --- you were right
the page totllay sucked when i changed my computer resolution to 800*600
so... i finally analysed the problem and fixed it
now you'll be able to view the site in any resolution
Hope you check the site again nd find it more to your liking
and i have also updated the site
so try checking back

Vinod,
Have you contacted the authors of all the tabs you're hosting on your site? It looks like a lot of the powertabs still have the author names from powertabs.net and other websites in the info fields. Your tab section could be just as effective if you reduced it to one page with links to all the sites you got them from.

well actually that's what i wanted to do
but i've been having these tabs for years now
and honestly don't know who the authors are and how to contact each and every one of them
however i am having these files in my webspace
i'm not direct-linking or anything

That's not really an excuse to host them- downloading someone else's work isn't an automatic license to build a site with it. Not that I care too much, but I do have one request- could you take down the Metallica - Master of Puppets tab? That one was made by GuitarJon from powertabs.net, and I've worked with him on some major updates which can be found in the new file at www.powertabs.net . That's why it's better to just have links to the sites, then people can get the latest files instead of a random collection of old tabs.
