Yes, but be careful. If you have anything else on your site, and anyone ever views it, Geocities bandwidth limitations screw up everything. When you run out of bandwidth, for the rest of the week your avatar is a little Geocities logo that says your bandwidth is exceeded. And it doesn't take much to exceed their bandwidth limits either.

For $7 a month, you could have complete unlimited hosting (hostony.com, and there are tons of others out there just as cheap). But if it's free you want and free you need, there are dozens of better places than Geocities, Angelfire, and whatever Xoom is today.. it's changed names and owners a good two dozen times since '96. Just snoop around, look for who has what in mandatory ads and pop-up ads, and bandwidth limitations and pick the best one for ya.

Hosting's getting cheaper and cheaper, and I hope it finally does away with Geocities and Angelfire.. all of the rest remain pretty small, but those two are just the worst places to view a website at >.<

Nah... I pulled that site... no one ever visits there anymore, mainly because the band got chopped, so dont worry mate, your avatar will be fine.
I only kept the geocities profile so I could log into yahoo and upload my own avatars :P :P
