- Fricke MFB Synth Lite 2 http://www.mfberlin.de/Produkte/Musikelektronik/SyLITE_II/SyLITE_IIe/sylite_iie.html

These are really good, it's hard to find something used which is better for that price.

Maybe you could get something like an EPS 16+ for that price. I know they came in a rack version, and there are probably tons of them around. Or for a little more you could get something like an ASR-X, that's not rackmount though, and an ASR rack would probably be a bit more. Just go to ebay, do a search for "sampler" in the musical instrument category, and set the price limit at say, $500 (just so you know whats out there). You will find all kinds of stuff, adn then you can go to places like harmony central or sonic state of vintage synth and do research on the specific models.

For what kind of sounds do you need the sampler?

Kirby wtf? With sampler you can sample any sound, can't you? I mean, every .wav?

Yep, you can do that.
But many people also use a sampler to load sounds like Orchestral stuff, that's why i was asking.

well, I'd need it just for sampling .wav files...
