I've been looking at these lately and they seem like a really handy thing to have when trying to learn DT rhythms . ....there's 3 types of this thing ...the CD-Gt1 for guitar, CD-Bt1 for bass and CD-VT1 for vocals. Why don't they have a keyboard one? Well I don't know why they wouldn't work for keyboard, but if someone on this board has one, tell me how you like it and if it does indeed work fine for keyboard training. Thanks

CHeaper solution:

Convert whatever CD you want to use into MP3 and use Windows Media Player to slowdon the track.

^I agree.
Or you can use a nice, basic program like Sony Sound Forge to convert to MP3 AND slow down the tracks.

Sound Forge is neither cheap nor is it basic... it's a very powerful piece of kit, just belied by it's ease-of-use. I've played around with various versions of it over the years, it's on my "to buy" list.

Well I guess its not that basic... I've been using it for a number of years now so I've just kind of gotten used to navigating my way around the program to the stage I find it on the basic side.
Although I didn't say it was cheap lol...

You guys are probably right, the cd trainers are definately the easiest to use but I do have soundforge and media player so I could do it that way. More work though. Thanks.

Best sounding slowdown plugin I've tried = Slowmedown for Winamp. Way better than other winamp plugins & WMP's slowdown.
