Compadre, I don't know much regarding the 1800...more with the 3000/3500. I *think* that they are the same thing though (or very close), but the 1800 just doesn't have the drawbar organ function like the 3500.
What patches were you interested in? If you can't upload anything I've made, I can try to explain how to make certain patches on it for you, so you can do it yourself. Send me a private message with any questions you have about it, and I'll be glad to help out.

yes, the wk1800 and 3000/3500 are all very similar... I think you're right about the 1800 not having the drawbar feature, as well as as a modulation wheel (if i'm not very much mistaken)
I have a WK3500 (one of many lol) and I'm pretty sure the Casio website has a fair few good patches you can download... does the 1800 have a floppy disk drive? I know the 3000 doesnt...
Programming in the 1800 & both the 3000/3500 is fairly simple, though to be fair you can't really do as much on it as the almighty Triton... have you tried out any of the Casio webpages? They used to have quite a lot of manuals on programming and help etc. that might be useful.
Same as Liquid Shadow... if you have any questions, feel free to PM me anytime or drop me an email.

Unfortunately I don't... although I'll murder who ever came up with the bloody .Z01 extension... can you believe I was so stupid when I got my Casio that it took me about an HOUR to figure out what the hell that file extension was for?!
... ok so thats not SO hard to believe...

How are the patches from that website? I went there once and tried to snag a few, but I couldn't get my MIDI cable to work...I think something was up with the driver on the computer, so there was no way for me to transfer the files. I tried the floppy disk, but they were the wrong file types. :?

Wrong file type?! Seriously? Thats strange... mine worked fine!
The patches are nothing impressive, but for someone just getting started out on the Casio, they're fairly good. Its mainly basic stuff that you can do yourself though.

I figured as much. I don't think they would have any new waveforms to add to it or anything, which is the only thing I'd really be interested in. Like you said...anything else can be done by yourself.
The file types that I got were the kind that are supposed to be transfered via MIDI, which is different than the type you get when using the disk. I think they are like .ck1 or something similar, as opposed to .z05 or .z06 from the disk

Ahhhhh... fair enough... its a simple enough mistake to make
