Jordan's Monster Lead

Does anyone know the controllers set up of Jordan's monster lead?

here's an example:

osc 1 shape :saw
lfo1 1 depth : 33 ,etc


I´ve got synth 1 to create the patch!!! Still, I don´t the set up...

Any help would truly be appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone...

Oh man... Jordan's version of the Monster lead is SO much more complex then that... Coupled with KDFX...


Unless he POSTS it himself.. We'll probably never see it man :(

Hey, enigma! His lead was posted here as a patch a while ago, right? Adn Jordan had posted somthing, he explained wich sounds he used for that lead.

That was his older lead from the LTE albums, etc..
The monster lead would be the Wah lead like the one that derek used.
Jordan has his own version that he uses for lines in the sand :)

Oh yeah, and It wasn't a patch unfortuantly. He did leave some hints as to HOW to make it, but he didn't leave the actual .k25 program file anywhere... :(

Enigma, the lead Jordan uses, or something that is quite simular that is called something with ''liquid''. Is that right? there is a patch on teh kurz, that sounds the same. even on the k2500X without kdfx.

Everything I know is that there a version of his lead available on a Spectrasonics card... But that's not the Wah-Lead and I know it from the commentary audio track from the SFNY DVD.

Okay, His personal lead is on the Kurzweil 2600, it program #77, and it's called the Liquid T Lead.
The Monster lead as we know it is the one with the WAH *dereks' version was the monster lead in the trinity, bank B patch 14.
As for the Spectrasonics... He does get some of his sounds there, like the Electric Sitar #2 patch (Home)
I don't know about the rest, I've not used the spectrasonics CD :)

First as always backup your files you have as 'Everything'

Just download the base objects for the k2600 file and
press Disk>
press Open
Select 76 Liquid T Lead
Load into an available bank

Yes, and you can actually install the objects for the k2600 into a k2500, you just don't get use of the triple modular programs (10 programs)

Rexx, that's what alberto told me aswell! Only the triple Modular option can't be trnasfered. Btw, Alberto is doing a great Job in L.A. He has received his k2600XS, and has allready built-up a very very cool studio there!! Alberto is the man!! 8)

But, is it possible to use that patch, liquid t, on another board?

i just orderd a used K2500s, i dont think it has kdfx, will i still be able to use them. kdfx is an optional thing, right?

Kamin, I pretty sure you can open an object file and just load a program into available memory, you can get around not having kdfx but you do need kdfx installed if you want to load the base objects and run your K25 with K26 presets.

RConspiracy, you can't transfer proprietary file data from a Kurz to another synth, just another Kurz. It's like a sysex file is not data for anything but the instrument it's intended for. (with the exception of backwards compatability)
