Hey guys. I figured since I don't have any use for my Expmate, that I'd like to get rid of it as well. I'll be giving you guys first shot at it before I post it on eBay. I'm asking $230 (or best offer) for it.
For those of you who don't know what the ExpressionMate is, here's a link (http://emusician.com/mag/emusic_kurzweil_expressionmate/).
It comes with the original power supply and spiral-bound manual. It's in very good condition (still has its original plastic sheet over the LCD display) and hasn't been used very much.
Shipping only to the continental USA.

Hey Karmafied. According to the United States Postal Service (usps.gov), shipping it will cost around $45-50, and should take around 3-5 days. If you're willing to pay that much for it, then I don't have any problem selling to you. :)
I only accept payment in postal money orders or bank-certified cashier's checks. I'm pretty sure you can get one of these and I shouldn't have any issue with cashing them in the USA, but you'd better make sure of that just in case (I don't use Paypal because I think they're evil).

Many thanks for the info Scrap but unfortunately i have to pay 87 USD more for the importation, and 367 USD (230+50+87) its a little high for this type of controller
I think any other user in the United States shure have interest in this lovely machine.
Good Luck friend :D

Hey Scrap
Just Wonderin how much would it cost if you mail it India
cuz you know i have been looking like shit for Ribbon
but i'ts not available here
But even 230$ would be a little high for me
Enigma might have been kidding but i can easily get a
Roland EV-5 expression pedal here for nearly 40 $
So will it really be worth it if spend so much money in the Ribbon
I'd really appreciate it if you could work out the cost of sendin it to India man
Thanks
Vinod

Um, how on earth can you compare an Expression Mate with an expression pedal?
I thought you wanted a ribbon controller. If you want an expression pedal, why don't you buy one?

HAHAHAHA LOL! The diffirence? The Expression Mate is the Ribbon on JR kurz, the one he uses to bend pitch for octaves! Expression pedals are footswitches which can be assinged for things as wah.

I think Vinod meant that what's the big difference using ribbon or foot controller for your real time controls.
Not that he thinks that ribbon and pedal looks same.
Why Expression Mate is cool:
-you can divide it to parts (3 separate?)
-it's really a eye-turner (what they say in english..) on live gigs when you do like +1 to -2 octave bend,
just moving gently your fingertip trough the ribbon! when foot pedal offers just the sound, ribbon can
offer sound and cool look
-...
-better find specs yourself
Ribbon controller can be also assigned to wah! (But it's not very handy :) )

The expression mate is one of the best MIDI-controllers I know of. I'd be more than happy to take it - but I'm in Norway for one, and currently I'm working on my PC-upgrade with watercooling and stuff. But it's definatly on my list of desireable items.
Actually I think all keyboards should have a generous ribbon controller. Especially VA-synths.

Hahaha, With Vinod, you never know ;). But The ribbon is cool. I was going to buy the Expression Mate from cory, untill I realized that I was about to buy a k2600X, which ofcourse already has one.

If you note the original post, he was selling it back in October. He doesn't have it on his current gear list, so I would assume he's sold it. I had my hopes up as well until I saw the date.
