EHY GUYS.......
I've got an idea......
Mr.Jordan could share with us ONE of his famous kurz patches......
Now in this topic we decide with patch.....
And then HE will decide if it is possible.....
After all , we are his guys from his FORUM !!!!!
This is my vote : The liquified piano in "Disappear"

Mr.Jordan.......what do you think about this.....? Is it possible ????

I don't know if I'm right, but that sitar patch is a sample from a commercial sample cd. So sharing this would be against law.

Majesty: Are you on crack dude? Others have said what??? I dunno - maybe you've accidently posted in the wrong thread again :p
As for the patch exchange: It wouldn't work. Jordan's using a fully upgraded Kurzweil with all the roms. GUARENTEED that most of his patches use waveforms from there... He wouldn't be able to even in he wanted unless you all have fully upgraded 2600's.
Even then, someone would have to go and modify the patch to NOT use the extra internal options and then it wouldn't be HIS patch anymore!
I have tried numerous times to see if he'd give up a sound or two: It's not going to happen. Not to say if *I* can't get him to give up a sound, but I mean that generally speaking, there'd be TOO many people left out!

I was feeling bored this afternoon, so I decided to cook up a Disappear piano program (http://www.reprehensible.net/~scrap/JORDAN.PCG) for the Triton and Karma. Also tossed in Karmafied's Liquid T emulation for the hell of it. +Y controls rotary speaker speed, SW1 turns off the rotary IFX and chorus. Loads in Bank D. Will not load on the Triton Le. :P

Hey Jack. I'm sure you can come somewhat close to the same sound that I posted. Start with a basic piano program and toss in a rotary speaker insert effect, as this is primary key to the piano's sound, then perhaps a delay and chorus in the MFX section. EQ to taste.
I think this is a great idea!
Jordan really knows his programming and many of us would love a patch.
I was under the impression that Jordan shares some of his Setups within the 'Patches' section for those subscribed to the On Line Conservatory?
Enigma, Not everyone would need to edit a .k26 file.
I agree that his programming on the K2600 would often utilize many upgrades such as roms, and obviously KDFX because it's part of the synth.
I hereby vote for anything. {begging} :P

maybe it's a more complex thing...
... but what about instead the real file.... some useful highlights by the great Key-Wiz (obviously if he wants and can!!) on the creation of the patch that will be more request? For example for the most common synth... Kurzweil k26, korg karma/triton....
(yessssssss maybe i'll get a karma!! :D)
is it a bad idea? :?

well guys, i think that the most beautiful thing of a synth is its programming. In fact, I can't wait anymore for have at home the K2500 for start to program it. Jack, you've a good synth with many patching possibilities. Throw your mind inside of it and bring out great sounds :)
see ya
I'm gonna upload the JRsoundset.k25 that I found somewhere on the net.
Uploaded - it's in the Synth Patches link (should work on K2600 as well but was created with a K2500) Some good examples of Jordan's crazy synth programming abilities! 8)
