Gonna pick up my new Triton Extreme 88 tomorrow! I'm excited as hell! :)

The only thing I don't look forward to is getting the machine in my room, 2nd floor! Luckily a case is provided with wheels on it, but they won't help much on a stair.

How do you people take care of carrying your gear, especially when you have to move it alot.

I would recommend you to ask a friend if he can help you carrying this thing!

And have a lot of fun with it! :D

I sure will! :) I used to record things with cubase with low quality midi sounds, but the Triton Extreme should offer me more options to record things.

You lucky xxxx ffox, I've played the Triton Extreme 88 and its a lovely instrument. Some of the Combi's are breathtaking, and at last Korg actually supply a great acoustic grand piano sound. Definately get some help carrying it, I remember when I bought a Korg o1/w Pro-X, I nearly snapped myself in half lifting that thing on my own and I dropped it also.
Have fun with your new love.... :D

Once I started to gig, it suddenly hit me just how hard it was to carry around the Carvin KB 1015 and my boards. It was actually this that got me into weightlifting in the first place. Haven't stopped since. :)

I hate you......but seriously, have fun because a day after you get it I'm going to steal it from you. I played the Extreme 88 and loved it. Make sure you write some nice tunes and post them for all of us to enjoy. :D

Keep working out !
When I gig, I carry my JD-800, an RS-9 KX80 amp, and a rack of outboard midi gear with no assistance, and load back into my house late at night into my basement, 1 piece at a time. Is it worth it ? Absolutely !!
Point is, you gotta have what you want to play, not just what you can carry ! :D

congrats man...great keyboard. i got me one recently as well and i am very pleased with it. are you thinking of sampling with it at all? i havent been able to try yet, but my friend has a JP musicman i want to try sampling. Also, have you visited progsounds? they have some cool .pcg files you can load to the extreme. and that is really easy to do, u just have to install the driver and hook up via usb and badda-bing! Enigma was making a Jordanesque lead for the Triton and i think it will be out soon on progsounds in a little pack of cool sounds. Check it out. Enjoy the board!

I'm relatively new to sampling, but I know one great forum where I can ask all my questions about that! :D

I also have visited Progsounds, it's awesome, can't wait to load those sounds into my new keyboard.

I have picked up my baby! It's a huge instrument. I'm amazed by the quantity and quality of the factory sounds

I'm at work now, trying to program some nice lead sounds.

I'm trying to reproduce the Monster Lead from my Trinity (b14) on my Triton Extreme, just to learn program basics... It's going well, except for the OB/Hi-Gain Wah effect, I want this bad ass wah  , can't get it as yet.

Any tips? :)
