Just flew in from Vegas....

I just got back from a weekend of partying with some
of my buddies at the MGM Grand on the Vegas strip.

The main focus and highlight of the trip was our near ringside
seats for the Oscar De La Hoya/Bernard Hopkins bout.
We're all De La Hoya fans so it was much to our dismay
that he lost. One of my buddies is an attorney whose client
in Vegas gives out main event seating among amenities like
steak dinners and limo rides. I was having the time of my life.

My wife actually let me go because I didn't get a present for
Fathers Day. What a treat this was.

The strip's a fun place to get lost for a couple of days isn't it? I tend to avoid the machines and go to the shows.

I began to run my team meetings in Vegas because the team was from all over the US, and everybody was tired of Dallas and Chicago as mid-way points. It turned out to be easier on the company's budget and much more fun the participants. Ok, it was a little longer for the Bostonites, but they didn't complain.
