... for your time and hospitality Monday night. Bakerman had said you guys had some bus problems, and for you to sacrifice your time to hang out and jam with a fan like you did was nothing short of amazing for me. You are one of the most respected musicians I've ever had the pleasure to listen to, and to have an opportunity to just hang out and talk like that was something I'll never forget.
And thanks to you, Bakerman, for the opportunity. We'd never met before yesterday, and to offer me the chance that you did speaks volumes about your character.
Yes, folks, I had the fortunate opportunity to chill with JR in his hotel room Monday night in Minneapolis, MN. I was only there for about an hour, but I got to talk with JR in a very mellow environment (i.e. not outside in the cold surrounded by other people). He brought out a John Petrucci Ernie Ball MusicMan and I got to jam on that. (Jordan, tell JP he's got himself a sweeeeeet line of guitars). Even jammed a bit on The Silent Man with JR playing along. Still can't believe I got to play a DT song with someone from DT. That I will always remember.
Oh yeah, the picture. Here is Jordan and myself with the JP EBMM:

So Jordan, once again, thank you so much for your time and hospitality. It is something I'll never, ever forget. Look forward to seeing you guys on the next tour!
