You know what I'm talking about..That thing @ 6:20...I've already discovered the similiar sound, now I just need to know what notes Jordan adds later on...Or is it some kind of harmonizer effect?

Thanks

It's 3 separate parts, the new ones starting a 3rd below (Eb) and 3rd above (Bb) the Gb that starts the original single line, then later more octaves layered but still 3 parts note-wise.

The lower part is made of Bb, Db, Eb, F, Gb from low to high, and it follows the opening melody exactly the same way if you match those 5 tones up to the 5 of the other one (Eb F Gb Ab Bb): the line starts Eb Db Bb Gb Bb Db Eb F Gb etc, with the Bb dropping a half step to A every other bar Eb Db A... just like the main voice goes Gb F Eb A. So they're doing the same pattern within their own scale.

The upper part is the same idea except the 7th (Db) becomes a m6 every other bar* see below. Gb Ab Bb Db Eb are the 'main 5' so Bb Ab Gb Eb Gb Ab Bb Db Eb... following the others, then A Ab Gb Eb Gb Ab A B Gb Ab in the bars where the other parts b their Bb to A.

*Except the last 2x when it moves up to Am and Cm, it stays the 7th (G or Bb)

Live JR does the first pattern w/ RH then adds the higher one (2nd one I described) with his LH in a zone setup to sound in the right octave, and adds extra octaves or layers to expand the sound further in.

So basically it's almost like an intelligently harmonized part within a 6-tone scale 1 2 b3 4 5 b7 with the 5 becoming a b5 every other bar, and that one part which does a b6 instead of a b7. Hopefully that's not too many notes and numbers, assuming you know the solo line enough to follow the same pattern around the other notes/intervals. Any more detail and I'd have to end up notating the whole thing, which they've already done in the OC. :-)

sorry, was that info kind of scattered?

main line, the '-' notes are the quick triplet/trill thing:

Gb F Eb Bb Eb F Gb Ab Bb Gb-Ab-Gb F Eb
Gb F Eb A Eb F Gb Ab (1. Eb F) (2. F Gb Eb F)

lower harmony:

Eb Db Bb Gb Bb Db Eb F Gb Eb-F-Eb Db Bb
Eb Db A Gb A Db Eb F (1. Bb Db) (2. Db Eb Bb Db)

higher harmony:

Bb Ab Gb Eb Gb Ab Bb Db Eb Bb-Db-Bb Ab Gb
A Ab Gb Eb Gb Ab A B* (1. Gb Ab) (2. Ab A Gb Ab)

It's the same thing in F#m, just move everything up 3 half steps. In the later Am and Cm versions, the B I marked with a * isn't the same thing shifted up- it's the minor 7th instead of the minor 6th, so play G in Am and Bb in Cm.
