Girlwhat?????
Ah Girlfirend. well yes, she can support me (by saying nothing, doing nothing and just let me playing!!!)

 haha

Sure I'll have some problems and I know this forum is always good for help.
For example: I couldnt even switch the banks yesterday in my 10 min. journey on the K2500.
It alway changed the preset sounds from 1 to 309. Or was that already all?
Hmm I guess I see.

thanx

well, standard you'll have preset 0-199

If you have the Pianorom (and also daughterboard) you also get 770-799
The contemporary rom gives you 800-899 and the orchestral 900-999.
THese are extra to be bought if you don't have them.

There are also KB3 organ programs (750-769). these depend on you're software version.

Via www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com you'll find a download area full of sounds, depending on your configuration

Also check Sonikmatter.com, a great Kurzweil resource.

Good luck

Coen

Check here:

http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/downloads.html

Go find the OS downloads - there are also instructions on how to install the stuff.

You have to press the exit button when the "please wait..." text is on the screen when turning on the thing. This will bring you to a menu where you can install ROM objects, operating systems, etc.

congratulations koma!
i've bought my k2500x about a year ago, its my first synth, so i studied many new things about it and MIDI, and everytime i'm programing i discover something new, just from experiments cause i don't have the books of the synth, i bought it used and the seller didn't have the books and reading PDF files sucks, so i think i'm going to buy the books from eBay probably...

anyway, enjoy your synth :D
