What sound are you (roland xp/jv owners) using, and which one do you think is the best?

I also like the classical piano 3 from the classical bank (xp-b 194)

What the others mentioned:

A1 - 64 voice for busy stuff
A12 - for lush stuff
Session 1 - for classical sounding (dark tone) stuff

I like to turn off the strings (tone 2) in A12 and run it through the Enhancer (EFX#6) instead of the reverb for a brighter piano with some detail to it.

Jerry

For playing "something" (improvising, practicing...), I also use always the 64VoicePiano - if I want to record a piano sound, I go through what I have and take the one that fits best in my opinion.

Sure, there is something better. That Fantom X piano. \m/

Seriously, you can;t get much better with the JV/XP series. If you have specific problems with a piano, you can tweak it to minimize the problem. So what is the problem with the A12 piano without strings. Too compressed sounding?, Not enough bite? Not warm enough?

I have the JV-880, but I'm not using any piano.
I use the Bright Piano (2nd patch) on the RS-9 for my piano.
