I like the actual sound. I don't know if it's your playing style or not, but the notes sound very choppy, almost like you're playing everything staccato.

I think he's playing staccato - otherwise the lead has some serious programming issues... Clearly, the sound is very Johansson-ish. You could even post it as an emulation in ProgSounds (check it out at here (http://www.albertorizzoschettino.com/~progsounds/))...and be praised as one of the closest (we're all Johansson fans more or less). What gear do you use in that demo?
I wouldn't say your lead is original or innovative or personal. I like your staccato soloing anyway - I use staccato as well sometimes, it adds tension if used with brains. I've also heard almost no pitchbending...good work anyway!

I use a korg karma. And yeh, definitely it is very Jen's inspired. Nothing close to my own style for sure. I just haven't felt like any of what've recorded so far has satisfied what I am looking for on a lead patch or a solo. It is a long way to get that I guess. Anyways I'll keep trying.
Cheers,
Cristian G. van Schuerbeck.

You're definitely good, we just wanted to know if such a big use of staccato is a peculiarity of yours or depends on the patch :D.

P.S. Damn, I wonder if my nickname makes you distrustful in my regards :D it's my band's name :D.
