Hello and good evening all JR forum members!
Hope you're all well.
I wanted to show off this effort - I may not be as talented as the man himself (or any of the other guys in DT) but I set myself a challenge to record the entire of "Forsaken" myself. All the parts. In one take each!!!
I managed to get the whole thing recorded, mixed and mastered in under 10 hours. Sure, there are mistakes in there, but I left them in in the spirit of the challenge.

See what you think!

Thanks for listening.
Keep on progging!

Damn stole my idea lol! I was planning on doing a solo whole-band cover myself (one day anyway). I must say I am impressed with how you went. There were some little bits here and there which I thought needed more work (rhyhtm in the keyboard parts, vocal tone, guitar lead), but with what you did (and the gear you had to do it with; Alesis DM5 and Behringer U-Control :P), you did a pretty good job. Nice work :)

Thanks guys :)

Yeah, I used my trusty old DM5 (now upgraded to a Jobeky kit running a Roland TD9 brain) and use a Fatar 88 controller.

I know what you mean, but like I said about the mistakes etc, it was all done in one take per instrument, so whatever happened happened!

Thanks again

Nice man. I'm always super-impressed at people that can cover 1 instrument in a DT cover....so for those that do this multi-instrument stuff - my "super impressed" turns to "super jealous"!! haha.

Well done!

that was seriously impressive, specially for the time restraints, you put on yourself

Well done dude, love the voice, very powerful and also unique

Love to hear some other stuff from you

Great job! That's impressive, being able to cover all the instruments and be pretty solid on all of them including vocals.
