I'ver heard these guys are pretty good, but can't find any of there stuff to give it a listen. What would be a good album to start with?

I have Subterranea and it's a very nice 2 cd work...check it out! They are a good group, even if I think the first wave of progressive (the older one) is much more inspiring and original.
If you don't know them, try listening to Kansas - they REALLY rock.

Yeah, Subterranea is very cool.......Martin Osford plays really cool melodies on the keyboards.....really nice atmospheric stuff too!

IQ is great music, even though I don't like their vocalist too much. Too childish voice somehow. For the music, definately worth the check out, in particular the keyboards...

I also don't like their vocalist too much, probably because they're an English band - I prefer American "accent" to be honest.

I have they last album, "The Seventh House", which came out after Subterranea. It's not a concept album, but it's also pretty good and I give it a listen here and there. The music reminds to of Spock's Beard from time to time, although the keyboards are different. The rhythms are Spock's Beard like, you know... it sounds mostly happy and not really hard.
All in all, I find IQ is a very good band, although it's not really my preferred music. It's a matter of taste as everything else is, too.

Try to check it out somehwere - I didn't have any problems finding their CDs in the music store I always go to.
