Hello,

I need some help identifiying the initial patch in Learning to Live. What type of sound is it? would it be some knd of clavichord? It is a dry sound but it doesn't sound completely acoustic, it's like also half synthetic sound. Any help would be appreciated.

I have absolutely no idea what it ACTUALLY is, but I made a fairly good copy of it using basicallly just standard keyboard sounds.

I took an acoustic guitar, some chimes, a synthetic hi hat and strings, then just put all of them in octaves. Mind you I did some mixing and eqing and whatnot to make it mix well into something which was passable for the opening patch to it.

But then I got Legacy Wavestation, and found a user-made patch online which is EXACTLY the opening patch to the song, and now when I play it I just use that. If you have Wavestation and you'd like the patch I'd be happy to send it to you. Just PM me.

I made the exact sound that kevin used on the album. I can't remember what i used for the sound but if you have a kurzweil k25/26, i shared my patch on progsounds, you can download it. Or if you don't have, maybe you can ask someone to sample it.
