I've got one integrated into Digi002 but I don't use it too often since everything goes thru ASIO drivers (Nuendo) and Digidesign won't make control surface support for other applications (except ProTools).

Hey,
I use Nuendo too, version 2. It's awesome.
In conjunction with the program I use my Tascam DM24
as a control surface and the mic. pres. as well.
It's an effective setup because I am able to use the
nice TC Electronics built in to save on processing power.

I had a mackie control surface to use with my MOTU DP3.
One of my best purchase.

That's an awesome piece.
There's a control surface for Nuendo I've been eyeing
until I saw the price. Whoa!
But then you should see this thing.
Talk about comprehensive.

I'm thinking about getting the new CM motormix control surface, it looks really cool and with Reason 3 coming out and supporting these surfaces, it will be a great addition to my virtual studio.

Frank - our bass player is using the Mackie with Cubase - works great. I think he picked one up on eBay for $600.
BTW - you're using a Motif ES8, if I recall. Have you investigated the integration of the MOtif with DAWs for control? I just got it working on Cubase and it's incredible! I just stay at the Motif and do everything I need to on Cubase without even touching the PC. You should check it out.
