I'm after a small sound module to send a midi click to for my bands drummer and also for some lovely Kurzy sounds. Hoping the Kurz piano is as good as I've been lead to believe.
Anyway, I've seen both of these units for sale online and aren't really sure which to go for. One's £70 other is £80 (GBP)
Any thoughts or quick answers on which is better? Also, are either of them general midi or have a metronome? Just to send a midi click of some sort from my M3 to the drummer, I'll need percussion sounds, GM or an inbuilt metronome.
Thanks in advance all,
Osiris
EDIT: Found the manuals for both on the Kurz site. Didn't expect them to still be on there to be honest. The ME-1 looks far better mainly due to the number of patches available. So unless anyone has a bad word to say about it, I'll go for that.

No Man, you need a click amp, to amp the click from the individual output on the M3 to the drummer, i use a behringer Xenyx 502 mixer althou there's some dedicated headphone amps made by rolls, there probably under £50, however if you are looking for an excuse to incorporate kurz pianos to your rig, that's another issue , but you will probably still need a headphone amp of some sort.

Well I've actually got a xenyx 1002fx mixer which I had been using in that exact way. M3's drum track was a 4/4 click going out of the 1st individual out.
Only thing is the mixer is what I use at home and I'm lazy n want to avoid moving the mixer from home to gigs n rehearsals...
You really think the Kurz modules won't provide a loud enough output?

No, i dont think so, unless the drummer uses really good isolation, but you know how drummers are, anyway thats why i bought that one, its the cheapest one avaliable, and it actually does a good job, i've used it for smaller gigs and hasnt failed me yet

Honestly, a nice headphone amp is never a bad thing to have around anyway! Lots of uses for it.

Ideally the band would all be using in ears and we'd have a headphone splitter or something to give us all a mix from the pa. and I could put the click in there too but without going through the pa...
Only thing is in ears are very pricey!
It's just laziness really. I want my home mixer to stay set up at home rather than always having to uplug everything, pack it up n take it to practise n gigs where its only used in one song...
