After about 8 months of NOT posting I am back in track at this forum.

So here is my story, for anyone interested that still slightly remembers my tiger dp.

I got hospitalized for a week due to a very severe life threatening gastrointestinal bacterial infection. It took me about a month to fully recover. In that time I completely forgot about the internet. Then came vacations and I spent them getting an airpilot license.

Then I started college and some very big programming proyects, I am making a mini-DAW for the Android platform!

I also started a musical proyect with some friends of mine, I am actually more of a producer to them than a band memmber, we already finished about 3 songs :D

I also got a new computer and my previous one´s internet connections died. So I basically was operating with my previous bookmarks forgotten and since I stayed off the internet for quite a while, I honestly forgot about all the forums I belonged to.

Now I am much more expanded gear wise. I just got an M50 61 in GREEN!! I got an awesome Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai for use with the Mopho. And I also have got a pair of new mics for recording vocals. Plus in a month or two I will have enough money to get myself an Alesis Multimix for some multi-track recording, although I am also considering the Zoom R16.

I think that is all that has happened to me in 8 months.

OH and I got a new girlfriend

Saludos,
Gustavo

well... the band its kind of your regular wannabe punk-rock-pop music. I am personally not composing, just helping them sound good and make some decent recordings  I actually helped "compose" just one song, but it remains unconcluded, no lyrics have been made and no drums planned either.

On the individual side I have started to compose an album, which will probably take some months and lots of sound programming. I´ve had myself some quite inspiring improvs and just came up with several riffs and I am planning on expanding on them. I hope I achieve making at least one of those songs a prog rock epicness, but I am one good drummer short XD

A thing I´ve learned has helped me is getting just the right sounds to inspire me. Like I made this tines, "icy" and very rich sound, and it all of the sudden inspired me to create a beautiful, slow and timeless melody, as it just froze. I´ll give it tons of work and I hope I end up with something good. And in other cases I just started jamming along a drumtrack and my guitarist friend and just came with this very proggy riffs using a cool Hammond sound that I feel is like "my sound" finally coming with some signature sounds I like a lot and will be using for most recordings I hope I eventually make

Hope that is not too long

Never made it to record the cover of Fingertips, but I put in the show off thread a very interesting take of On The Run. It could be specially interesting for those who own nord stages
