Hi everyone,

I need a little help with some soundfont issues.

I'm unsatisfied with my current soundfont player. I'm using RGC Audio's SFZ, and SFZ+, and they're pretty good. My only problem is that they can only load one soundfont at a time, thus removing my ability to layer sounds. Does anyone on here know a FREE soundfont player that supports the loading of more than one soundfont file at a time?

Regards,

Just load multiple SFZ instances and layer them in your host

I can't, ACID doesn't allow me to load multiple VST plugins onto one track. If you know a similar host that will allow me to switch instantly between multiple plugins, AND allow me to layer plugins and/or do keyboard splits, let me know.

No worries, I found the perfect program XD

Acoustica Mixcraft allows me to load in as many different VST plugins as I want on to one track, then layer and perform as many splits as I want!!! It's fantastic, and It's just what I've been looking for.

Now I just need to find the 75 bucks it costs before the trial time runs out lol

Cockos' reaper might let you do what you're looking for, too, and it's a bit cheaper for a personal license.
