Hello everyone,

I'm quite a bit of a composer, and I'm currently working arranging backing tracks for children's music, and I thought this would be an awesome place for people to see the stuff I've done.

Here's a link to my upload server:

http://destori.com/soulfire/

Most of my independent compositions/arrangements are up there.

I swear to God though, if anyone so much as THINKS about plagerising or copying ANYTHING you hear in those files, you will be severely punished. I do have a *limited* copyright over them. It's not much, but it would win in a court case :D

Please tell me what you think, tho. I'd love people to hear and say what they think.

Here's a list of all the pieces and a bit of information about them:

Auld Lang Syne - Lolzy shred arrangement of traditional piece

Beyond The Horizon - Original Composition. Orchestral

Dementia - Original Composition. Metal. Meant to contain vocals, but I don't have the correct screaming technique lol.

I Can't Count - Original Composition. Jazz Fusion

Instrumedley No. 2 - Inspired by Instrumedley by DT. Have a listen. You'll like trust me :D

Marzullo, The Deity Of Perpetual Satellites - Original Composition. Progressive Metal

Opening Night - Techno/Dance song created using loops and samples.

Rock In A Minor - Backing track created for soloing, inspired by Stairway To Heaven

The Bloodstained Overture - Original Composition. Orchestral

The Man From Snowy River (Main Theme) - Arrangment. Progressive Piano. Originally by Bruce Rowland.

The Office Of Strategic Influence - Remix of a bunch of songs by OSI. Electronica

Twilight Of The Thunder God - Arrangement. Orchestral. Originally by Amon Amarth

Soon to come, an original piano piece and another orchestral song. Have a listen, tell me what you think, but please don't plagerise!! :S

Regards,

Soulfire

Yer sorry about the plagerism thing, I just get a little jumpy when it comes to putting my music on the net thats all.

I'll put some new stuff up soon, with some more keyboard orientated music :D

Keep up the comments.

UPDATE:

New music uploaded to my server space!

Adina

- Piano solo. Very emotional, ballad like piano solo. Recording isn't the greatest, it's one of the first time I've tried to record live keys. Recorded on my Yamaha CLP-220

Solar Voyage

- Prog Metal Fusion. Something which should be fairly popular on these forums. Keyboard orientated progressive music. Live recorded guitar, keys. Bass recorded in on keys as well. Drums written in using guitar pro 5. The synth solo uses Jordan's Liquid T Lead patch. The keyboard solo isn't very good either, it was a bit rushed and improvised on the spot. One day maybe I'll take the time to rewrite it.

Hey guys, I'm going to resurrect this thread, because I've uploaded some new stuff and I'd like opinions.

I know its a sad time for us all because of the loss of Mike Portnoy, but we do need to return to some air of normality in the forum. I don't mean to be insensitive about posting about something different, and I hope no one will take it that way.

The two new pieces I have uploaded are:

1) Love Theme and The Long Road Ahead

Another orchestral piece. This time, I wanted to do something different, and instead of writing the same usual epic main theme stuff I do, I scored what is basically a soppy, cheesy ending to a Disney-esque movie, with some gross lovey dubby scene of a couple running through a field of daises in slow motion or something. Lol thats a bit exaggerated, but basically thats the feel of the piece. It also fits in with my Beyond The Horizon suite I am slooooowlly building.

2) Concert Band Piece (Demo)

This song is something I'm scoring to be played by my school concert band. I wrote this section, which I intend to use as the main theme of the piece, but want to expand on it. If anyone does decide to have a listen, I need opinions on whether to expand before this section, after it, or both. Any advice is appreciated. In summation, the piece is a rocky, orchestral kinda song, with a driving main motif and moving bassline for a theatre/musical sorta feel. I hope you like.

Also if any of you have graced here before, or are new, I'd reccomend you listen to Solar Voyage, a piece which actually features some keyboards lol. Have a listen if you're interested.

And finally, many of you may remember a while back a post by the user DTDrummer asking for some studio keyboard work. Many of you replied, as did I, and I went on to record two pieces (so far) with their band, Prophetic Writing. When I get to hear the finished product, I'll see if I can give you guys access to hear the work we've put in.

Happy Posting.
