Hello Keyboarders.
I've got a question and I hope anyone can help me with it. Several years ago, an Keyboards/Synthesizer artist named Vince DiCola, made several sound tracks. Namely a soundtrack to Rocky the movie and a soundtrack to Trans-Formers, the Movie. By my knowledge these are the only soundtracks/albums that he's ever made. Sadly I can't seem to find anything more about him.
My question to you all is, if anyone of you know Vince DiCola and if so... if there are more albums made by this artist.
Thank you all very much in advance.
Niels.

Vince DiCola is the man
He has been in two bands as far as I know, the first was called Storming Heaven, I think they've only had one album and I can't find it anywhere. The second band was called Thread (again only one album), I have it and I love it. It's kind of poppish-prog, until you get to the last song which is like a 15 minute prog epic :) Thread features Doane Perry from Jethro Tull on drums and the Ellis Hall from Tower Of Power on vocals... a strange combination but it works! If you surf to ProgRock.com you can request Thread on their radio station.
If you're a TFTM soundtrack fan you should try to get your hands on this:

It's a two disc set, disc 2 of which contains the entire instrumental score by Vince DiCola. It was available at the 1997 BotCon Transformers Convention, I was lucky enough to order one while they were still in print. It's one of my most prized posessions.
You might be able to find one on Ebay. Disc 2 was apparently also re-released by itself in 2001:

Edit: Forgot to mention, there a couple of versions of Transformers: The Movie on DVD, one of which has an interview with Vince in the bonus materials section. Really cool guy, talks about his prog influences. I've got my fingers crossed they get Vince to do the soundtrack for the new live action Transformers movie!
