I just gave the link to a female singer who knows quite some people at the universities in Vienna and Munich(I think, perhaps even more)...
You could try to contact the institutes for popular music, people studying there are looking for a band almost all the time.

Not trying to bash you guys, but I am missing some originality in 90% of today's progressive metal bands- if you're being technical, try to be as musical as possible. Good luck with your search!

Sorry Bud, im looking for 2 singers too, for my covers band, the girl singer has a 3 month parasite inside of her :biggrin: were all very happy for her, but at some point she will leave the band :frown: and the guy singer is very busy from work so he's always tired, sings only a few songs and he's not delivering :frown:.

man you guys have great skill cool little riffs and really tight,
its sounding really good and all and you might find a nice audience if you get a interesting singer, its a nice soundscape you got

but ill agree with the rest of the forum i feel as if bands like dream theater have done this playing style to death

Thanks for your feedback guys! And thanks Christopher for your music institute idea, I'm working on that :)

Dream Theater is unarguably one of our main influences and inspiration, I think the comparing is a natural thing. Some feel the DT influences, some feel SyX (I'm really the only one in the band that truly love SyX, go figure lol) and many are feeling something fresh and new.

Hopefully people will get the big picture of our music with the CD on their hands :)
