Everything you showed in that video is way over my head, but it sounded nice!

One thought - I remember a bit ago about how someone posted a link to an article which stated how very old pianos and harpsicords and such all had very different sounds than what we had today. Things were slightly off pitch from each other, and it really brought an entirely new sound to some songs.

The demo used was Moonlight Sonata, and it definitely sounded much different when played on an actual old piano like they would have played when the song was written.

Not sure what type of realistic sound you are going for, but perhaps adding some of those imperfections to the tuning would give it a very realistic "old school" sound to it?

Again, really depends on what you are going for in terms of the sound.

I remember that article. It was about old pianos and their action. I always add imperfections to my emulation (the modular piano, as example, features a control panel to tweak timber due to hammer felts and individual string microtuning) but since this new timbre is in its very early development stage, there are so many things to be done before ;)

Anyway, I'm very glad you all appreciated my work. Thank you very much, guys.

Cheers,
Luca

Sounds pretty cool. Don Dorsey would be proud.

Hi folks,

this is a new teaser from yesterday. The sound is getting better but be aware that this is still a work in progress :)
