Here are a new tutorial for using VST plugins in a more light way than into cubase. In this way, you can use VST instruments/effect with your pc in a low latency way.

Check it out (http://axiom.6deex.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&re q=viewarticle&artid=2&page=1)

I'm using CONSOLE for playing VST-s live and for all te MIDI calculations I need to do. It's has more possibilities than Synthedit, for example it can connect more than one audio and MIDI in/out etc...

Same here. It seems the link is broken.
Anyway, I am using energyXT as my host/sequencer and I am in heaven.

Best.

Hi folks!

I'm new here, just discovering new-ness evry day!

I think this is the right neck of the woods to ask my question about OASYS / ETHNO INSTRUMENT but I'm naff at typing so I'll point you at the link for another forum. Move it and give it a title if you think best.
I hope you don't mind.

Also, do we have any OASYS-ready Combis/Multis amongst us?
I have only (only......har har!........read as OVERKILL ANYWAY) the factory patches.

I'm particularly interested in Moroccan GNAWA music and was sad that Ethno didn't have a GYMBRI patch since it is such a famous instrument out there.

Cheers!

Been using Sony ACID as a host and it's brilliant.

You need a pretty powerful PC tho :S

There's also Cantabile Lite which is freeware if you can't afford anything pricey..

I've found this program called LiveProfessor which is very easy to use and works very well. You can do some advanced things with it but it's only beta.
