I like it quite a bit.
Good job. Heavier than I normally listen to, but still very melodic

ya, we are trying to cover the entire metropolis pt 2 album, but we are stuck on dance of eternity haha. we've been working on it for 4 months now! (along with all of our own stuff) Does anyone have any transcriptions to JR's parts for the songs not included in the anthology? if you do, id love to get a copy of them.. even midi files would be great

War of the Worlds: sounds like a straightforward song...I can't hear you in the sample...and, hey, your singer sounds very punk...I mean, I don't feel technique in his singing... :(
One Mind: I don't like your string patch, it's very...well, I don't feel it...
Mask of Iron: the best so far. Hm, the chorus vocal lines could be definitely improved.
Bleeding of the Nation: hm, it sounds to me so Nightwish! :D Anyway, a nice start...but again, the voice is VERY under your level...
Vindication of the Vampire: I can't stand the singer. It sounds like some punkster on a microphone...also the rythm part is very...noise&loud...but you and the guitarist work very good together.
I don't know how old are you...maybe my age (I'm just 18 *since April*)...but anyway, I'm sure you can write WAY BETTER lyrics buddies!
I perfectly know you're down there before the mixing, but damn, raise your volume level! And also some more effects to the complex...
I'm not judging your music or you, this is what a critic would say at a first listening of the demo - I've written some reviews in the past and that's what I'd say.
As a musician, I'd say you are way ahead than me and my group, hey guys, you have the ideas clear on your directions and music, and that's rare.
Keep rocking, you've a lot of cards up your sleeves!

Good stuff. With better recordings (everything cleaned up a bit) and if your singer can lose that "punk" tone to his voice that Deciet mentioned (he's got a good voice which shows at times, but he's not up to his potential...vocal lessons maybe?) then you guys could turn out to be a pretty strong band. Good musical ideas, now it's just a matter of fine tuning it, tightening your playing as a band, and cleaning everything up and you've got some good stuff going for ya!

thanks for the comments. those recordings are actually rather old.. they are from about 2 years ago when we had just started and right after we wrote the songs. We are going into the studio in a month or two to record a better recording. About our singer, ya I agree he sounded really punk back then but he's taken a bunch of voice lessons and he sounds way better. So, hopefully ill post up here again with our new songs! Oh, that was also before i got my K2500.. at that time I was only using a ensoniq SD1 haha.
