So we have the huge Dream Theater Anthology, the newly made Keyboard Anthology...I think that they should do "A Change of Seasons" as a fully transcribed part (all instruments), and should make it available...there are plenty of parts in there I'd love to play, but I'm sure cover bands and other musicians would get a blast out of this...so yea what do you all think? Or what should be the next thing that Dream Theater puts out in terms of playable parts?

I think a ACOS transcription book would be great!! I used to play ACOS but more and more I found out that what I was playing wasn't all correct! And I think that there are more people who would appreciate it.
We could allways give it a shot, with help from all of us to create a perfect midifile from it.
I think it would be worth the trying!

Guess it's my english but what do mean with ''but not so much the midi even..."? Do you think making a midifile won't work?

Well you can record the midi file but the notation is gonna be off the wall.

You can use midi software with which you can write down all the notes one by one. I think a greater problem is figuring out which notes to write down...

There's a very accurate Guitar Pro tab at www.mysongbook.com

When I do a transcription, I enter it note by note via mouse with normal notation view. Bakerman does it the same I guess but with piano roll view rather than standard note view.

If we ever get the chance to do a second Full Score Anthology or another Key Anthology, ACOS will DEFINITELY be in it!

i posess a "tif" file : 85 pages of transcription for A Change Of Seasons(vocals, guitars, bass, drums and other). By "other" , they mean "us" : keyboards !
It doesn't mention the authors of the transcription.

It's likely the book from Shinko, which isn't known for accurate transcriptions. A Shinko book is really just that much more of a reason for someone else to publish a decent version. :-)
