I just sent this to Jordan, it's really unbelieveable. And VERY practical for us musicians, that sometimes get a cool idea into our heads and wonder what it would sound like with a full band playing that idea!

I just tested it. It also lets you choose a song from your iPhone iPod library and then play or sing along to it. Un-freakin-believeable. The precision is pretty awesome.

Does it have vocal autotune options? If it did... That would be a killer app because you could totally throw together some basic music ideas... Can you save things you've made as well into somewhere? Like use this app as a musical scrapboard while on the go?

Saw a brief glimpse in the video for "lead guitar", so as long as that is what you would be referring to, I'd guess yes

That is so brilliant! I can't count how many times I have recorded "ta da ta dahh" lines onto my crappy cel phones just to avoid forgetting the melodies.

I don't have an iphone, and I probably never willl, but I would love this same principle applied to daw's. A vst that could do the same, but converting the voice input signal into MIDI messages, so that we could then apply which ever plug in or MIDI sound to it.
It's so practical!

Let's see how this develops.
