Hello, my name is Niels.

I've got this synthesizer which I can't really get out of it what I would like to. It's got cool sounds though and it's very powerfull. OKay, let me get straight to the point. It's an Alesis QS 6.1. I have seen that most topics in the gear section are about the Kurzweil synthesizers and keyboards. Sadly my budget was only high enough to buy the Alesis. My apologies for those who dream with the Kurzweil wonder machines. I know that they are much more powerfull and advanced then the Alesis key's.

I was wondering if anyone here knows a thing or two about this synth. I would like to get the most out of it possible. I also know the R.T.F.M. routine, but that didn't help me much further then I am now. Turning it on, choosing a tune and then hitting a note is where I am, but I know there's much more in this little thing then meets the eye.

if anyone has got some advice for me, then I will be very greatfull.

Thanks in advance all and talk to you soon.

Niels.
