Actually, I'm not from Japan, but I was really interesting in meeting people who live in Japan.
I think I'll move there in couple of years, so it's always nice to have someone you know

Currently I'm trying to learn Japanese - it will be my fifth language, if you don't count ancient latin

Anyone?

I'm not confident of regarding myself as a musician even though I've learned vocal music a bit. This is Musicians Seeking Musicians section.
Nevertheless I'd say if you have any questions about Japanese language, feel free to ask me!

Hi,

I'm not that much of a musician also, I'm afraid

But I was just looking for Japanese people in general. To learn about your culture, language, etc you know...

I'm going to study music production next year - my idea was to go to Japan as an excange student, for a year or something (maybe even work later). Main reason is because I think that Japanese musicians are really good. Europe stands nowhere near it, IMHO.
But this won't be any time soon (in 3 or 5 years?)

I'm someone who likes to plan ahead, so I decided to learn Japanese already - I watch animes a lot with subs anyways, so why not start now?

Do you have MSN?

I'm not sure Japanese musicians are that good... It's not that we have many people like Hiromi Uehara!

Seems you're in Belgium so I'm not surprised if you mastered Dutch, French and German languages. But Japanese language is completely different.... difficult.
But I also watch anime recently, and guess they're good materials to learn Japanese youngster's conversation.

I don't use MSN so I'll send you my e-mail address via PM later.

No, actually I'm a native Russian speaker (watashiha rokokujindesu )- it's also completely different from roman languages. So it's not like I know only roman languages, which are somewhat similar and not that diffucult.
Russian uses cyrillic (an other alphabet - very close to ancient Greek alphabet) and has a pain in the ass grammar - really difficult stuff also.

So I'm up for the challenge
I think the most important part when learning a language is to master some vocabulary and grammar, and then just use your knowledge a lot. (speaking - writing is different thing). If you look at it that way, all languages are equally difficult.

I wasn't talking just about musicians - just the music world in general, which is in my opinion stronger than in Europe.
