Can someone provide me a step by step "guide" as to how to get Cakewalk to record from my Kurzweil?
This is what I have:
Kurzweil K2600XS
Cakewalk Sonar 3.1 Producer Edition
M-Audio Mobile Pre USB Audio Interface
and a MIDI interface of other sorts.
I have the audio interface hooked in by stereo and the MIDI connectors are in and all is connected to the computer.
Now, I know there are certain settings within Cakewalk to adjust to get them to recognize I want to record audio...what do I have to do there.
And also, to record MIDI via my Kurzweil, I know there are a bunch of settings (like Local Keyboard Channel...etc) on the K2600XS and in Cakewalk that I have to change so it can get signals from the 2600.
I have an INS file maker but it can't communicate with the 2600 even though it's hooked in like it used to...
So any help, the manual is confusing, in another language, and I just need this help once to tell me how to get it to record MIDI and then through Audio...hope this is enough information to get help from someone.
Thanks in advance, Emeric
