One of the entry exams next will is to notate a song (lead sheet - melody and chords) by ear. Time limit is 45 minutes...
I already did a couple of songs, like Heaven (Bryan Adams), yesterday (beatles) and some other Beatles songs.
I can get very good results in 2 hours - in 45 minutes all I can do is chords, notes of the melody, but not the rhythm.
So if you could recommend some easy songs (with vocals), I would appreciate it. I promised myself that I will do at least 1 song a week.
Tips on how to actually do it are also welcome of course!
