Hi there,

For a special Wheel-project I need your help.
This saturday I will do interviews with Jordan, Robert Dorion (tech) and Patrick Slaats (standbuilder).
If you have any questions for one of the guys, please let me know.

Hope to hear from you fellow forummers!

Take care,
Jeroen

I'm hesitant because although I think I've watched all the Youtube vids, I can't remember if the questions have been asked or not!

-Does JR use many preset sounds from the keyboards he uses? Or is nearly everything he does custom created?

-I notice standbuilder doesn't really have a website or sell the stands. Has he thought about going into production? I've searched everywhere on the internet and have yet to find a good, not to expensive, rotating stand company

-Have there been any new additions to his setup that we may not be aware of? Or does he have any plans in the near future to add anything?

-Is he doing any side projects or working on any new technology in terms of keyboard manufacturers?

-When is he coming to western, NY!!!!!!

All I got for now! Enjoy the interview!

- Which EXi does he uses on his OASYS ? Only the bases or did he bought some of them (ex: Polysix, MS-20, MOD-7)
- What does Jordan thinks about the KARMA function of the OASYS/Karma/M3. Does he uses it in
- Did Jordan ever try an arranger keyboard ? ;)
- How Robert program the set list every night ? It is prepared in advance and loaded each night or ordered on the spot at the gig ?
- Does Jordan plans to use the lap steel guitar more ?

I DO sell the stands I build.....Or do you think that I store those in my backyard?
Just like I build these things. Custom made, but I also have a sort of "production" on the aluminum (truss) stands....

But, I'll tell some more in the interview.

Meant more in the line of opening an actual store (either physical store or an online store) with different designs that people could purchase.

More out of the "custom" stuff and more into mass production (lowering costs).

I AM out of the custom stuff.
The only stands that are one-of-a-kind and custom made, are Jordan's stands.
And for the rest, it is just a sort of a hobby, next to my daily job. Not more, not less.

The aluminum truss stands are a sort of mass production.
And about lowering the costs... I'll try to be as cheap (and GOOD) as possible.:biggrin:

For Jordan:

Is there any song that you've listened to and thought, "I wish I wrote that!"? Not counting 'Tarkus' though.

I think i would ask him this:

Jordan, wich lead sound do yo prefer, the one your using now or the one you used with your kurzweil?

I would LOVE to see him answer :D
