you'd think after several years of playing around with keyboards I wouldn't run into these anymore, BUT: I am trying to switch my live setup from using my Korg TR to control my Kurz PC2R to just using an M Audio Keystation 61 for the rack and using the korg for synth stuff. The reason I am doing this is because the Korg is sending stupid MIDI messages to the Kurz that makes velocity increase decay sounds faster. I don't know how to change this, so I'm going away from the TR to a plain old MIDI controller. I've been using it a while, but have never really delved into it until recently, and was very pleased that under advanced functions you can program the octave +/- buttons to do program switches, which is just what I needed, as there is no prg. switch pedal jack on the Keys. 61 or on the PC2R. And it works great for the "Internal voices" Mode. BUT: in MIDI setups mode, which is what I'm using for live (layering, splitting, parts, etc), it doesn't switch the setup...it cycles through the programs in the first layer of the setup (MIDI chan. 1). So, say I have a sound in layer one from bank 1, press the prg change button and it doesn't change the entire setup, but rather changes the program in layer one. WTF I am frustrated like mad. HELP!
