New Derek Sherinian Lead

Does anyone have any idea what kind of lead Derek is playing in the dueling solo section of "70 Vir" on the Moonbabies album? I think it is a totally cool sound and I love the morphing it does. Any thoughts?

As said, I beleive he uses Nord Lead 3 for all lead sounds, he also uses Korg Triton and a Nord Electro if I'm correct :!:

Once Derek's Monster Lead was posted here in the forum (the OLD one :) ). It was Derek's Trinity Monster Lead (and it damaged my V3!!! :x :P ).

That's cool to hear, but with users without a trinity we can't hear the program.
The insides are composed of 33% pulse and Saw waveforms, with the overdrive/distortion alg.
I think the feedback was a result of the MOSS he had installed on the V3.

After the "disaster" I got the Monster Lead from another forumer (can't remember his name though... sorry!), and it worked perfectly. It was "your" Monster Lead, put inside the preset file.
It didn't make use of the MOSS, it was just a normal Program patch. I wasn't able to find out how the feedback was realized...

I'm working 11 hour days for the next two weeks or so, but after that I'll have a lot more time. I'll see if I can come up with some patch ideas then, or perhaps Scrap or someone can. He's been doing some great stuff lately.

My landlord has a Yamaha S80 and I might be able to do something similar to a Motif on that, they're very similar synths.

on the site there are only 3 audio sample available for Moonbabies... and 70 vir isn't in :?
on other sites it's possible to listen to the start of the song.. i don't think that we can hear that lead sound from the beginning.
