Apex stands: adjustable?

I might be getting an Apex stand at some point in the future, and I'm wondering if the height is adjustable on them at all, and if you can adjust how far apart the two tiers are.

The height is totally adjustable, the tiers mount onto the column basically by clamping into a couple of grooves, using a thumbscrew to tighten the tier in place. So essentially you can have the tiers anywhere from 2" above the ground to the very top... and the two tiers can be adjusted independently, there are no restrictions as far as distance apart beyond the height of the keyboard on the lower tier!
