Is this supposed to be a tribute to Dream Theater or something? Because I swear some of the riffs in there are lifted right out of DT songs. Other than that, it sounded cool. Very reminiscent of SFaM-era Dream Theater.

In a sense, it is a tribute, but it was intended to be more of a heavily-inspired Dream Theater-esque song. It ended up becoming so good that I eventually decided to make it as part of an album.

Okay, but that bassline at the end of it doesn't really seem like an "inspiration." More like a copy of the bass riff in Stream of Consciousness.
