The songs I heard so far on the net fit the DT-music-genre very well (I don't wanna say ProgMetal that wouldn't do justice to DT :D) but you have your own sound too, so not only copy of DT but quite DTish too, in a good way of sense ;)

Well, a bit offtopic but what the **ck...
I checked your guitarists Hompage and I have to mention that his solo stuff is quite amazing too! A kind of Vai-Petrucci mixture!

Thank you for the kind words! We'll be posting subsequent videos as each of us complete our parts, so I'll be sure to keep you informed on how things are shaping up.

Regarding the solo stuff, I think you may actually be looking at a friend of the band's site. a guitarist named Pete Laramee. I recorded some bass on Pete's last disc (which also featured Derek Sherinian) and have played at Orion Studios with him as a member of Pete Laramee's Brute Squad. I strongly recommend anyone who likes solo guitar but is sick of the typical, derivative, formulaic stuff that clogs the scene to check him out. He's got amazing chops and I'd call him an "instrumental song writer" (lieder ohne worte?) before I'd call him a "solo guitarist."
