I believe Bob (studiomaster@btinternet.com I believe) has some, although I doubt he'd be cheap and is based in the UK. They do crop up on ebay from time to time, I got mine in the Vintage Keys VK-6, there are Vintage Pro modules kicking around as well... but as the entire E-MU hardware line has been discontinued, it's a case of getting what you can when you can. I don't have any spares of that particular ROM, I'm afraid!

Oh, it`s discontinued then......damn it, I didn`t knew.....anyway I think I`ll have to keep my standard Sounds, until I save some money and buy myself something like the Motif Rack, cause I really need mellotron and hammond sounds, and the standard Rom in the Proteus doesn`t offer pretty good ones.

Thanx a lot man

Keep your eyes open on Ebay. I'm watching for a B3 and a Vintage Keys ROM myself.

Sorry, no vintage synth, but you may want to keep searching this link.
Things like this seem to come up pretty regularly.

Cheers !

oh, thanx guys...but I was wondering...buying this kind of things second-handed is safe?, I mean cause the boards must be very fragile...like a RAM memory card or something. What do you think?

Thanks again

They're pretty robust, I have bought and sold numerous over the last 12 months on Ebay. I imported 21 from E-MU in the US and sold the bulk of them via ebay, not had any reported problems. Most sellers of any repute would guarantee / refund the item if it was duff, check for people with good feedback ratings (95% is not high enough, look for at least 97% (unless they've only got 20 sales and one is bad but obviously from a moron!).

http://search-desc.ebay.com/Emu_Musical-Instruments_W0QQcatrefZC1QQfromZR4QQsacategoryZ619 QQsosortpropertyZ1QQsotextsearchedZ2 is another one worth trying, it's a little less specific, but not everyone puts stuff in the right place!

FWIW, there are both Vintage Pro and B-3 modules currently going on Ebay UK, albeit only 3 hours left on the Vintage one.

Tigerfolly, the Vintage and B-3 ROMs are both must-have's, I wouldn't get rid of them for anything... they reside (along with a PROM1 pop ROM and an Ensoniq Project) in my main PK-6 that I use for 70% of my work!

Shipping tends to depend on the sellers... I've never bought from the US Ebay, so I'm not sure... on the UK one, people can list where they're willing to ship to (I always put UK and Europe, but I will ship pretty much anywhere). The guy selling the Vintage Pro will only post to the UK, but the B-3 one is worldwide (I'm quite tempted by that one, especially as I've just sold my PX-7 :)).

If you've got any more questions E-MU related then feel free to ask, don't worry about it :)

You can get some great deals on ebay.
I landed my SR-JV Vintage Synth expansion board for my Jv-880 there, brand new in box for about 80.00 USD.
