That's an expensive price - I got the 76 key version for 1600$ Canadian...
But anyway, the Bass sounds are good, the lead sounds are... okay. Pads = ownage. Drums are actually QUITE good in comparison to most drums I find. Pianos = WEAK!!! Organs are very convincing, guitars *when not distorted* are okay.
Polyphony - not bad. I haven't pushed it yet hard enough to know what it can really handle
Overall sound quality - Very good. It has a very strong sounding effects section even though there's only 1 insert effect and 2 master effects. The effects to CHOOSE from however are the same from the Classic/Studio triton.
Has a very powerful sequencer, 200,000 note information events. NICE!
The techno stuff is very cool, stays authentic to the genre however it's very... similar all the way through the board.
Would I have it as my sole workstation: Only if I had no other choice. Could I make due - YES. Where is it best:
I would say it's best in the backing track dept - Good drums, organs, strings, and clean guitars. Distorted guitars suck, but show me a synth where they DON'T!
I would see about a better price to be honest, however if you paid 1600$ for a 61 key, I'd say get a Trinity instead...
The system is FAST on the LE, but again, you have 1 insert effect too.
Hope this helps!.

Good synth.
Some time more insert effect would be welcome but it's very good.
I've bought my one here http://www.synthplanet.com
The direct link to the triton le 61 (890$) http://shop.synthplanet.com/store.lasso?c=other&newlang=en&-session=shop:D566C95A118182F8B3xVMq3C6C56
I think they sell all around the world.
