Ok, I'm in the market for a new board.
It's a toss-up between the Yamaha S90 and the Korg Triton Le88.
I was wondering if anyone has or has demo'd either or both of these boards? If so, could you give me some pros and cons? I'm leaning more towards the S90 mainly because it's said to have the best sounding pianos around...but I don't want to miss something cool about the Triton Le.....AHHH.
Someone please help me...............thanks in advance!

There are many similar threads to this but to sum it up go with the S90.
You played both and liked it more. Its a very nice board with much better feel than the Triton LE. Feel is very important your going to be playing the thing day in and day out.
The only think missing from the S90 that the LE has is a sampling option. If your in the market for a sampler then you may want to do some more research.

The Le also has a very powerful 200,000 note sequencer.
I'd have to agree with Ed, however. The S90 just sounds
fantastic! Much better than the Le in my own opinion.

Thanks for the advice guys. As you can probably guess from my avatar, I've decided to go with the S90.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but I hops that youi can program. The presets in the S90 are too bad to be true! Really worse. The piano is aweful too!

Hehe Frank, I am deadly serious! It's such a typical yamaha sound. People who want real good piano sounds, should get Steinberg The Grand, or some other software.

If you're going for a 'hardware' setup, I think that the S90's
piano sounds would be great.
Now, in a studio setting, if you're talking about going 'all out'
realistic, then you might want to check out Synthogy's
"IVORY" grand piano program.
In this guy's opinion, it smokes The Grand or anything else
out there. I remember the looks on the faces of many
hardcore pianists at NAMM during the demonstrations.
That pretty much said it all.
Oh, and it was created by a couple of former Kurz sound
designers. No surprise there.
