Any Quebecers here going to the Montreal Prog Fest on September 13th and 14th ? The tickets aren't cheap, I guess, but I couldn't help buying two golden tickets for both nights :) It will be a sweet week end.

I'm going alone because nobody's crazy enough to pay the price I paid. There will be long pauses between bands so if other prog heads here are going, we could hook up. For food.

Oh man! I wish I can see BMS live sometime in my life, before they are too old or just cant gig anymore. Actually, they were supposed to play in Baja Prog in Mexicali, around april this year, and they couldt do it because one of them had some health problems, cant remember if it was Di Giacomo or Nocenzi. Anyways, that festival is going to be too cool, even though I dont know half of the bands, hehe.

Enjoy!!

I don't know any of them, hahaha. But I don't think I will dislike the prog of it all.

Well, I strongly suggest the Darwin album from BMS. I consider it to be their masterpiece, 1972 I think. Heavy presence of organ, piano and synth on that work. For me, it was an adquired taste cause it has a dense atmosphere, but it became one of my favorite albums in history!
Here a couple of videos of songs that belong to that album.

Shows the potential of the band.

Holy moley, that is some awesome keywork in there. Vocals in Italian are great for the ballads, that's just amazing.
