IMHO I think it sounds a little over cooked with the distortion/overdrive so maybe rolling off some of the distortion and adding some flanger effect will make it sound a little more like JJ's lead. I think you may also find some useful info on the patch exchange section here and on the progsounds website.

I don't know about the distortion - not too bad, but you know what IS really bugging me: It's tapping. The distortion is actually TAPPING when you play.
Get rid of that and maybe add a touch of reverb... then you're good to go :)
