Hi folks,

I've recently been bought (by my girlfriend, who rocks :P) an mBox 2 Mini with included Ignition pack and copy of Pro Tools LE 7.4. Now, one of the reasons I like Logic better than Pro Tools is that Logic comes with almost a hundred very nice-sounding effects and processing plugins, as well as a host of VST instruments, whilst Pro Tools comes with 1 EQ, 2 dynamics processors, 6 delays (yeah, I know, right?), and....not a whole lot else.

The purpose of this thread is basically to find out what (free) RTAS plugins all you other Pro Tools users like to use in your setups - got any gems you'd like to share? I'm basically looking for more musical EQ and dynamics, perhaps with a nice (convolution?) reverb or two and some modulation effects, but whatever you guys have found and love would be great, including virtual instruments!

Let the suggestions commence!

Bump!

Come on, I know that not all of you are dirty Cubase users! :P

Well, in the studio, we have a lot of plug ins, but all of them are not free ... basically standard (UAD, some NI stuff), some outboard and so on. At home, I only do editing, so there is no need for a very good sounding plug in ... some reverb to check, if you'll hear a cut, that's it.
