I hate to ask a stupid question, but does that board come with semi-weighted keys as an option to full weighted ?
Just wondering.
Long Term it may be a consideration to replace one of my Rolands :D
Right now, I'm a semi-weighted kind of player (what can I say? I have small fingers).

Thanks guys! I founf that I hav OS 4.0 but all the programs are not the same as in the J|R video. Does anyone know why? oh yeah, the rom blocks are super!

Because some of the setups and whatnot JR uses in the video are from the Rudess Morgenstien Project and don't come included in the Kurzweil2600 as a standard. :)

I'd like to know how the semi-weighted action on that board compares to my RS-9. Since Guitar Center isn't carrying Kurz anymore I'll have to look around and see if I can find another Kurzweil dealer in my area.

hahaha, Dave duh. I knew that. Besides every setup has a * infront of it when it it created by user. But program 80 is polyreal mini, and not in mine.

The stand actually came from IKEA :lol: . I found out a couple of things. I have OS 4.0, while JR couldn't possibly have that too at that time. Secondly, Alberto R.S said that I might have ''Best of Vast''. So other presets. A small example. All k25/26 users know that you press Master mode, then view etc. The view softbutton is on mastermode page 1, in the JR video. While it's on page 2 with me. Those tiny things. Enough to confuse me.

I'm glad you're enjoying this new board...I have a k2600xs and even though I don't know how to use it yet...I mean, yea I can fiddle with sounds but it will take some time before I go and understand how to really make awesome sounds, I know that I have a BLAST playing this with friends and just playing in general...the keys have an awesome feel to them.

Ok, I have only scratched the surface of the board, and now I am reall sick. I have a huge headache and a fever. Add some neck and back complaints to them, and voila, there's my status! Imagine how that is, after having received a new instrument.

Until you have to carry it to two separate locations five days a week from 8-12pm and then 6-11pm, I would NOT complain about your backpains ;)

Hehe, yea you will...when I took it out of the box I called my friend to help me cause just lifting part of it made me go "oh crap what did I buy"...that's my only complaint with it...that and it doesn't have a color LCD ;)

But, honestly, after 2 weeks of lugging it around, I got used to it...I can now lift it out and set it up without much complaining...the problem is putting it away cause it's tough to lower something that heavy, gently into a case that is directly on the floor...but I'll deal.
