How are y'all doing? It's been a while since I've been on, I know. Life is really running at full speed currently in Bert-land, and it's kinda hard to keep up sometimes.

I wanted to point you all to a site for a project I've been working on for some time now. It's called Brain Safari, and it's basically a good friend of mine and me doing bizarre things with synthesizers, various audio gear, and computer processing. It's definitely quite experimental, so keep an open mind as you listen!

I'd love to hear your comments and feedback. You all are here because you have fine tastes in music -- let's see what discerning listeners think of my new nuttiness!

The link is as follows: http://www.ursession.com/BrainSafari

Quickly, the other pieces of news from my life: Some of you might have heard that I got married to the greatest girl in the world last November. The new news is shocking to everyone: The world is going to have a new little Bert (or Bertette) just after Christmastime this year...

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Alrighty then. It's nice to have some input in the forum again!

As always, Purple Robot Fish. Love and smooches --

Great to see you back around......
From being 'dissappeared' to being married and expecting.

Guess you're not going on the road soon with a family at home

ah, maybe I'll see you in the states one day (I'm going there next february for my honeymoon)

BERT!

Congrats on the new family! Best of luck with all that.

I like the Brain. And I like Brain Safaris. The music is pretty cool. Haven't listened to all of them yet, but so far I'm especially digging "The Mind of God". I like the rhythms in other songs. They are different, but sound really cool and other-worldly

Do you guys play your music in a live setting? Or have you been working mainly together in the studio?

You all should make a myspace!

Thanks for the congrats!

We'll do a MySpace soon. I wanted to get it started a little bit smaller... MySpace is so polluted with the lowest of society that I wanted a bit of a cleaner environment to start showing off the tunes.

We've not done any live stuff yet, though we talk about it occasionally. We're concentrating on finishing the recording first, then we're going to have to figure out how the heck to produce all that sound with two people in a live setting.

Thanks for the listen!

I'm glad to hear your great news, Bert! Congratulations!!
Thank you for your band's info. I really enjoyed all demos. I love a beautiful tune “The Mind of God” in particular. “Hong Kong Fuey” is cool too. I think there is a Kung-fu element in it. That's very cool and interesting!

I know this may seem very random, and really isn't any of my business, but I was just curious, does your wife have red hair?

I remember way back when, seems ages ago, you had some sort of fetish for redheads, and would express it often on the forum...lol

anyway, I had stumbled upon this redhead actress and for some reason remembered...oh Bert likes redheads...i should share this....but then i was like...oh crap, he's married now. so here i am. if you're remotely interested, her name is Christina (http://i7.tinypic.com/4ldk40y.jpg) Hendricks (http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/5346/29265881ft3.jpg)....and all i have to say is
