Hi,
I decided to start this thread in order to send a message to Jordan and the rest of Dream Theater to thank them for the time they take to do the meet and greets after the shows.
I think the amount of effort that they put into this is sometimes under-estimated. Two nights ago i had the opportunity to meet them after the show in Vancouver, Canada; and let me tell you, it was almost 1 am when they came out to the room backstage to get pictures taken and talk to us; they looked soooooo tired, and even then, they still were the nicest and most down to earth guys, and also they didn't bother answering questions...1 by 1..to about 50 or more fans doing the meet and greet.
If it was me...being that tired...i would proabably be really cranky :-), but they didn't at all, they treated us with respect and the pulled off the energy to throw a smile to us....that's priceless.

Thanks Jordan and Dream Theater for taking the time to do this kind of stuff!! We really apprecciate that!

Rei.

Dream Theater is definetely the band that is most united with their fans, wich is amazing, they dont go around pretending to be untouchable gods (even though they are :P ) ...

I'm going to a Meet and Greet on May 30th, what's it like? How long does it last, how much crap will they sign, how many questions do they answer, etc. If I gave Jordan mah phone number, would he call?

Haha well, unfortunately I was apart of one of the biggest (if not the biggest) meet and greet on the last American tour here in Dallas. I think we had 90 gold package people, so we barely had time to talk, but seeing them up close and getting to say a few words as we were getting stuff signed was worth all the money to me. Plus getting really freaking awesome seats up front row, with an amazing setlist, it brings tears to my eyes! ( not really, but you get it)

Actually when I got to Jordan, I had a piano key for him to sign and when I got up to him I said "Here" then he looked at it and said "..cool..are you giving it to me?" and then I snapped back into reality and said "no no..please sign it" haha. Hopefully you wont be at a loss for words, I know they are just people, but its really cool seeing them in person

Don't be afraid, Jordan will be the coolest dude around when you meet him......

If John Myung is there, be sure to ask him for an autograph, he's not always around :)
