Thank you for sharing this!!!

This guy is really talented (I've watched his other videos)! I actually enjoy his playing more than Rudess'! Sure Jordan has by far better technique, but his tunes have something very very epic that I like!!! And they are really not that hard - but sweet...

And his Fantom x playing kick-ass... I wonder how to make his lead... most awesome lead I've ever heard!!! (I like it even more than JR kurz feedback lead)
Who said Fantom is terrible for prog rock??? To bad the aftertouch of the 8 sucks (((
I'll try to recreate it and will work more on my prog rock leads now... this guy inspired me!!!

Frost hey, will check it out...

Thank you again...

Man! I just watched his Fantom Tricks video, about skip back sampling - he opened my eyes! Sampling - re sampling rocks!

I already tried it - just recorded a simple sine loop, then the bass - added effects, sampeled - resampeled it like 5-6 time and the result is pretty cool! Even in prog rock context! > ...something you could never come up with, with rational thinking and music theory... so much motion...
And if you play like short notes - it sound like Mellotron, lol

I've always ignored sampling... big mistake!!! (well, just "sampling" would work also, but skip back sampling makes it lot easier) - you should try it!!!
It's like I missed an entire universe of sound design.... > I already found a good ambient tune for my assignment...

Lol, I've showed Frost to a keyboard noob who bought Fantom with his parents money (and then said it had a crappy sound - after all conversation we had about keyboard) and he said they are bad, .... he considers Matt Bellamy to be the greatest keyboardist (great musician, no offense), what a moron!!!

HAhahah Wow! That's quite the compliment there! hah. Indeed, Jem Godfrey is fantastic. I just got Milliontown recently. It is a beautiful album. I've seen Frost live before.. Very underrated band. I think they're about to explode though... A lot of people seem to really like them.

It Jem who "does all the work" in frost - right? I mean, he is the producer, and the rest just plays it.... remarkable, really...

What really amazing, that he claims to have no musical education what so ever, and can't read sheet music!

The picture's are kinda bad, make it look way too big, but the real thing is freaking awesome.

Yea I just recently became a Frost fan due to clicking on a link to a preview of their upcoming album over on the mike portnoy forum. My fave videos the guy has made so far is the Frost report feb 1 and feb 2. They have him playing some really awesome keyboard stuff, and at the end of feb 1st hes playing an end of a solo and his fingers are so freakin fast!

Wow.. I didn't know frost* before these videos... now I have watched all the reports and they look kinda good! I listened to some sample of their cd "milliontown" but i'm not yet completely convinced.. some bits seam really good, others... well less..

I love the fantom x6!! it looks like a really wonderful key for the price it cost.. isn't it??

I don't see why he didn't choose the G right from the beginning...

He says that he is the biggest "gear lust" or something, you ever saw - well, that's not true... Jordan has 5 times more gear than he does...

A baby speaker has a 1l4" jack input

So? He wanted to use Fx6 as his gig keyboard, while he already had G7 - and changed his mind, just as I expected...

Don't really get why he buys a Fantom G6 when he got the G7 already.

Oh, yeah - it's an other FG... yeah - why???

Because he has money, I guess
But still, I think Roland are going in the wrong direction... FG is cool and all, but seems like it's a DAW wannabe, rather than a keyboard synth... that's a shame, really...
What I would like to see, is JD-800 approach... a workstation with lot's of real time control...

So writing songs for Atomic Kitten wasn't a bad idea at all.
But seriously.. Have you seen his house and garden? On the frost report.. I believe it was february or something. He films the garden completely covered in snow. It was just magical. That guy has money...

Well, maybe in Netherlands or Belgium snow is pretty expensive, but it some countries you get it for free

Yeah, he's damn rich, I bet.... but if you can get everything your want just right away - where is da fun?

I think he didnt have a G7, i understand that he had a fantom x6, sold it and then bought an X7, But then he saw the fantom G and bought it about two months ago. Ii guess he stayed with X cuz thats what he knew, plus he had a card with combis for it. Just saying what i understood.

Oh and to settle all this hoopla about his synths.

Milliontown and Tour: Roland Fantom X7

He sold that and bought an X6. He was going to have the X6 as his new touring keyboard but after Roland lent him the Fantom G7 so he can prepare the above videos he decided to buy a G6. The M3 he uses for his "day job."

No, first he had x7, which he sold because it refused to load Milliontown gig setup. Then he bought x6, don't know why... probably because he wanted to use it as a gig keyboard for the new album, because he mentioned the fast patch change...
Then he managed to get himself a g7 - and then he decided to use g6 as his gig instrument.

What Narek said, makes sense actually...
